Cerner Academy Software Engineer Interview

Once I realized our problems were about software development behavior and not knowledge, I realized we would need to completely rebuild the way Cerner trains its new engineers. The result is DevAcademy. Imagine you are a new engineer starting at Cerner. In your first week at Cerner, you report to the DevAcademy. I interviewed at Cerner in December 2015. After applying on the cerner website, I was contacted by a recruiter and scheduled a phone interview. The recruiter talked about the job, cerner, and asked a couple simple OOP questions. Later that day I was sent an email asking to schedule a hireview interview with a software engineer at cerner.

I recently got an offer from Cerner Corporation for their Academy Software Engineer position and was wondering if anyone who has worked there would be willing to share their experience. What was the overall experience like? So far, the only thing that concerns me is the poor work-life balance at the company, but does that also apply for the entry-level Academy Software Engineer position? Generally, how many hours per week would I have to work, and how challenging/difficult is the work? Also, any ideas if Cerner is open to salary negotiations for their entry-level positions? Any insights on the work environment, their office (the one in Kansas City), culture, people, etc. would also be appreciated. I took the virtual video interviews instead of the onsite one, so never had the chance to visit their office or chat with any of their engineers (except for the ones who interviewed me) which is why I'm so curious.
