I'm trying to install IBM's SPSS statistics software so that I can do assignments on my desktop (which has Windows 10) at home.
However, just as the installation finishes and tries to open the License Authorisation Wizard, it freezes, and then either bluescreens immediately, or the desktop turns red for a few seconds before bluescreening. This happens with every version of SPSS I have tried to install (versions 20, 21, 22 and 23) and they all crash in the same way.
I've also tried running the Authorisation Wizard in compatability mode (with vista, windows 7 and 8) and they still crash. I was hoping someone had either a solution or some form or workaround? Thanks!
